Save Open Space in Adams County, Vote Yes on Issue 1A

Each year sprawling development brings more people and traffic to Adams County. It also destroys our communitiesí precious open space, farmland and wildlife habitat. Now we can do something positive about it.

By voting YES on Adams County Issue 1A, you can join your neighbors in supporting the purchase of land from willing sellers and the maintenance of existing parks and facilities. The money from Issue 1A will:


You can be assured that money generated by Adams County Issue 1A will be spent wisely. The one penny on five dollars sales tax:


Best of all we can accomplish these important goals with sound fiscal planning. The sales tax would ad only one penny to every five dollar purchase, and would not apply to the purchases of food or prescription drugs.
