A Farewell and a Call for Help
by Kevin Mackessy, Editor, P&P
The P&P bids a grateful farewell to Reginald Allen, our newly resigned calendar editor. Reginald’s dry humor and attention to detail will be missed. We appreciate his years of faithful service. Thanks Reginald. At the same time, we welcome Reginald’s replacement Thom McKiven to the P&P staff.
We still need more help as well. We are looking for a volunteer editor to take over the “Make a Difference” section. This job entails attending one two-hour meeting every other month, gathering materials from contributors and editing submissions. Strong editorial skills helpful, but we can train you if you’re interested in a long-term commitment.
The P&P staff is also looking for an organized, energetic person with good administrative and editorial skills to act as our Assignments Editor. Duties for this volunteer position include tracking and organizing all submitted articles and working with the editor on assigning articles to our various staff editors. We will consider a person with strong administrative skills who is interested in learning editorial skills. If you are interested in any of these positions please call Kevin at 303-471-1594 or send email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Submission Hints for Contributors
The P&P Staff is grateful to all our contributors out there. We appreciate your involvement and your dedication to the environmental mission. Here are a few hints to help us out:
I’m sure we’d like to hear everything you can find out about the important issues we face out there.
