The City of Fort Collins has developed practical information to help builders construct homes that are durable, safe, comfortable and energy efficient. It includes how to comply with building codes as well as the basics of insulating, air sealing, and moisture control. The guide details design considerations for foundations, floors, walls, windows, doors, sky-lights, HVAC systems, ceilings and roofs, as well as available products.
