Amazon Books and the Sierra Club Join Forces
by Charlie Oriez
Looking for just the right book of Colorado trails for Christmas? Want the latest book by Mark Pearson and John Fielder? Or is there a book that has nothing to do with the outdoors, Colorado, or the environment that is on your shopping list this week? The Sierra Club web page at http://www.rmc.sierraclub.org/site/ has a book store on it. We've selected the latest books by Mark Pearson and John Fielder, other books about Colorado trails, flora and fauna, and everything else in which you might be interested.
These books are available to purchase through our web page, in association with Amazon books. We've found the books, Amazon will deliver them, and the Sierra Club receives a commission for each book sold through our web page. This month's feature book is the guide to Colorado's BLM river canyons, written by Mark Pearson with photos by John Fielder.
But you can buy any book you want through the Sierra Club book store, even if it has nothing to do with the environment. We've built a search engine on our page that will find the author, subject, or title you want in Amazon's stacks. Students going back to school should price their text books here before going to the college book store. All books purchased through our web page support the Sierra Club financially. As Groucho Marx once said, "Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it is too dark to read."
Support the Sierra Club and read something.
